Come to CPGS & we will weigh and take a picture of your fish caught in any South Park waters or you also can e-mail us a photo, we may even use it as one of our Photos of the week!

Pic Of The Week2: Great teamwork and even greater smiles? Come into CPGS before you go to any South Park lake for up to the minute fishing reports, tackle, flies, drinks, food, etc and create your own smiles.
Many fishermen and fisherwomen have been stopping by CPGS to measure / weigh their big catch, e-mailing a pic of their fish, and / or coming by the CPGS store telling us of their catch and realease fish stories or the about one that got away. We would love to have you stop by and get to know us, your new friends at Chaparral Park General Store.
We also have new Summer / Fall hours, view on the Contact Us Page or below also come in for coffee, drinks, fishing equipment, and up to date fishing report information! We also have some spots still available for reservation at our Campground. Reserve a spot now so you do not have to drive out so early in the morning or stay an extra day without having to drive back to town. We have a scale to weigh your trophy fish, so come in to Chaparral Park General Store to take part in any of the tournaments listed in the Upcoming Events page or for more information see store for tournament details and to sign up. Chaparral Park General Store still is open 7 days a week so come in and buy cold / hot beverages, food, bait, fishing tackle, rent fishing gear, stay at our lodge / bunkroom, or camp in our campground. Also be sure to ask Rob, Werner, or Kandy where and what to catch your next "Big Brown" Trout, Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Cutbow Trout, Brook Trout, Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Perch, Carp, or Kokanee Salmon.

When catch & releasing your Spinney, "Dream Stream", 11mile, Antero, or Taryall trophy lunker fish 1) take your own digital picture, 2) send it via e-mail to Rob@ChaparralParkGeneralStore.com, & 3) we will post your picture in our online "Photo Gallery". Also when you catch your take home trophy of 20" inches or longer at Spinney , Antero, 11 mile, or Taryall come to Chaparral Park General Store were we will measure, weigh, take your picture, & post it in our online "Photo Gallery" for bragging rights on the world wide web to show your friends & family that your fish story was really true.

Fishing Report: Great Fishing ~
Perfect time for Pike fishing, the big ones are hitting hard! Tazmanian Devils, Rapalas, Flat Fish, Callibaetis, Hares Ears, Ice Cream Cones, Pheasant Tails, Scuds, and Hoppers.
BOATERS: Open to boating at both North & South boat ramps.
Spinney Flies & Lure Only Waters Regulations can be reviewed on the Colorado Division of Wildlife web site.
Elevenmile / 11 mile Reservoir:

Fishing Report: Great Fishing ~
The Salmon are running and many people have caught their limits, especially at night. Tazmanian Devils, Dick Nites, Spoons, Wooly Buggers, and Matukas.
BOATERS:Open to boating both North boat ramp ONLY.
Tarryall Reservoir:
Fishing Report: Good Fishing ~
Worms, power bait, kastmasters, needlefish, hares ears, and hoppers.

Antero Reservoir:
Current Antero (Denver Owned) Water Levels
Fishing Report: Great Fishing ~ Lots of weeds but the fishing is doing great. Callibaetis, Pheasant Tails, Stimulators, Crawdad patterns, worms, power baits, and Dick Nites.
Fishermen: If you fish Antero Reservoir please come into the CPGS store or call us and let us know how you did or send your report and a photo if you have one too.
BOATERS: Open to boating.
South Platte River "The Dream Stream":

2 mile section of river between Spinney & Eleven mile Reservoirs
Fishing Report: Good Fishing ~
Pheasant Tails, RS2's, BWO, Tricos, Caddis, Dunns, and UFOs.
REMEMBER even the Kokanee Salmon caught in "The Dream Stream" MUST be released alive back into the water if you catch it in the river - ALL FISH MUST BE RETURNED TO THE WATER NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

South Platte River Above Spinney:

Some brown trout action being reported at the inlet area along with some very large rainbows. Scuds, hoppers, copper johns, and pale morning dunns.
