Hint: Do not forget about the rivers and streams which are open year round and can produce some big surprises eager to slurp up the river bugs. Spinney Reservoir:
Fishing Report: Fishing Great ~ Fishing is fair through the day. Better early and later. Flies: larger streamers and eggs also chronomids are still working. Lures: tube jigs are doing well. You can do well trolling for both pike and trout. Come into ˇ§The Chapˇ¨ store to find out what the hot colors of tubes jigs or fly patterns are that day. We have all the flies, lures, tube jigs, fishing equipment, supplies, and groceries for all of your fishing, hunting, or camping needs.


BOATERS: The boat ramps at Spinney Mountain and Eleven Mile State Parks has closed for the season. As of November 1, 2017 Spinney Mountain and Eleven Mile Reservoirs are closed to vessels requiring inspections for Aquatic Nuisance Species. Only vessels exempted from inspections per Parks Chapter 8 Regulation #800E will be permited on Spinney Mountain and Eleven Mile? Reservoirs until they ice over. Only the following vessels are permitted: Kayaks, Canoes, Rafts, Belly Boats, Windsurfer Boards (including Paddle Boards), Sailboards, and Float Tubes). Boating is only allowed from a half hour before sunrise to a half hour after sunset.. See the Colorado Parks and Wildlife for updated information. Also see Colorado Parks and Wildlife boating page for more information.

Elevenmile / 11 Mile Reservoir:
Eleven Mile Canyon Reservoir is a Denver owned recreation area
Fishing Report: Fishing Good ~ Coyote Ridge, Cross Creek, and Rocking Chair. Trolling, bait, lures, fly fishing... all producing. Come into ˇ§The Chapˇ¨ store to find out what the hot colors of tubes jigs or fly patterns are that day. We have all the bait, flies, lures, tube jigs, fishing equipment, supplies, and groceries for all of your fishing, hunting, or camping needs.

We have all the bait, flies, lures, tube jigs, fishing equipment, supplies, and groceries for all of your fishing, hunting, or camping needs.

Antero Reservoir:
Antero Reservoir is a Denver owned recreation area
Fishing Report: Fishing Good ~ Power Baits, Salmon Eggs, Kastmasters, Rebels, Zebras, Callibaetis, Hares Ear, Damsels, and Prince Nymphs. Open for recreation and only shore angling only. Lake reopened as of 06/05/2017 the bag and possession limit for trout is two. Fish caught and placed on a stringer, in a container or live well, or not returned to the water immediately count in the daily bag and possession limit. Questions regarding fishing at Antero can be directed to Colorado Parks and Wildlife at 303-291-7227. Campsites have been updated and will be open to the public. Always check Denver Water for any current regulations or new rule changes before fishing, boating, camping, or any activity at Antero Reservoir.

BOATERS: The following hand-launched watercraft will be permitted until further notice: kayaks, belly boats, float tubes and canoes. Watercraft is not permitted to be launched from a trailer, and gas, diesel or electric-powered motors are not allowed. See the Denver Water Antero Reservoir page for more information. REMEMBER even the Kokanee Salmon caught in "The Dream Stream" MUST be released alive back into the water if you catch it in the river - ALL FISH MUST BE RETURNED TO THE WATER NO EXCEPTIONS! Dream Stream And All Other Flies & Lure Waters Only Regulations can be reviewed on the Colorado Parks and Wildlife web site.
